One of my favorite travel magazines, covering my favorite cruise experience ever, in perhaps my favorite destination on Earth… I truly have THE dream job.
Working on this story for Aranui Cruises, together with Travel + Leisure editors, reporters and photographers was an unforgettable experience! Naturally, this was pitched and booked up back in Q4 2019. The reporter and photographer were booked for their trip, departing mid-March 2020. We all know what happened… Canceled.
It was rebooked, then canceled again during the next boarder closure. Rebooked and canceled again. When I finally got the reporter to Tahiti, she tested positive for COVID on arrival. Canceled again, but thankfully this reporter was so amazing, so flexible and so accommodating!! She completed her required quarantine in Tahiti, and thanks to a few of my other favorite resort clients in French Polynesia, Le Taha’a and Le Bora Bora, she was able to experience even more (and write about it all)! This originally planned press trip was for 16-days on the Aranui, but quickly snowballed into over a month-long, multi-stop journey of a lifetime!
I’m really proud of this big, bold and glossy full feature story on the Aranui! It wasn’t easy, but oh-so-worth-it!!
