Trade In Your Halloween Candy for Cash

Our clients, Drs. Harvey Lee and Laura McCormack of Little Smiles of Orange County, will be taking your kids’ Halloween Candy for cash this year. On Thursday and Friday after Halloween, November 1-2nd (9am-5pm each day), local families are invited to bring extra candy to Little Smiles of Orange County, and for every pound of wrapped candy that’s traded-in, the practice will pay $1 (up to $20 per family).

“Of course we want kids to enjoy everything fun about Halloween- including the candy,” said Dr. Lee. “Eating some candy won’t destroy children’s teeth, as long as they remember to brush afterwards. But, generally kids collect excessive amounts of sugar. We wanted to create a fun way to encourage and reward kids for making a healthy choice.”

Every child who participates will also be entered into a raffle to win a membership to Pretend City Children’s Museum, and will receive a goodie bag to take home.

The candy collected during this trade-in event will be shipped to troops overseas in partnership with Operation Gratitude, a charity that sends care packages to troops serving overseas and recovering in military hospitals.

This event will be held at Little Smiles of Orange County, which is located in the Woodbridge Square Medical Building at 4980 Barranca Pkwy, Suite 101 in Irvine. The public is welcome to call the office with questions about this event at 949-733-3433 or visit their website, www.LittleSmilesOC.com.
